Adoption Fee: $300

The adoption fee helps cover the cost of veterinary care, food, supplies, and other expenses related to rescuing and caring for each dog. This fee ensures that we can continue to rescue and rehome more dogs in need.

  • River

    River is a beautiful 4-year-old female German Shepherd looking for a patient, experienced forever home.

    River is a loyal companion who does best with women and needs time to warm up to new people — once she trusts you, she’s incredibly devoted.

    No small children or cats, please.
    She has done well with a non-reactive dog and could potentially have a calm canine sibling.

    Must have experience with working breeds — River will thrive in a home that understands the mental and physical needs of a German Shepherd and can continue her structure and training.

    River has been working hard with the amazing trainers at Delmarva K9 LLC for the past two months, and she’s been excelling in her training and building confidence every day.

    She needs someone who respects her boundaries, is committed to continued training, and can offer the calm, stable home she deserves.
